The Pledge - Life is Eternal and So is Love: Reader Reviews

Daphine Jackson writes,

What a love story! The setting was beautiful and picturesque. I could picture each scene, the character's expressions, the houses, the cars, the dresses and the kids as I read. I didn't want the story to end and when I got to the end, I wanted more. I was thinking a series...but...I'm looking forward to the next positive love story...

Carolyn Jones writes,

The Pledge - LIfe is Eternal and So is Love is one that keeps you reading the book until you have read the entire book. It is very nice to read a story that is reflective of good values and morals as we all travel through our own circle of life. I look forward to the continuing journey.

Joy Walton writes,

The was such a wonderful romance novel that most women dream of and some are blessed to find. I was overwhelmed with the spiritual connect between this Tish and Tom. I could never imagine have that type of relation. To long for your soulmate and you finally meet him and it was taken away before you knew it. It was so awesome how their spirits connected in such a way that even the outside elements could not stop them from being together. The was a fantasice read and I look forward to reading more of your books.

Thanks for enlightening my spirit about what true love can bring. Be blessed and continue lifting up true African American Love.

Leah Cooper writes,

This book warmed my soul and is a beautiful example of finding true love. When you find love like this, you know it's real. I do believe in the "Spirit Dance" and I look forward to sharing this story with my daughter when she becomes of age.

Mattie Robinson writes,

This is an excellent love story, I loved it, this story grabs you from the preface and makes you want to read on, and on and on...I can't wait until the beginning of the story is ready, Linda this is a wonderful wonderful story, thank you for putting pin to paper and writing this remarkable book..now on to the "The Pharaoh's Queen" I can't wait to read it.

Janie Mack James writes,

After reading the first page, I was hooked. I could not put your book down. It was the best love story that I have ever read. I have talked about "The Pledge..." to so many people...men and women. You need to write a script of this novel for a movie. I can hardly wait for your next novel. Keep up the great work and may God continue to bless you. Love ya girl!

Mrs. Madora Brown writes,

It's not often that I can pick up a book and read it from cover to cover without easily putting it down to come back much later to finish. Even at 84 years old, I live a pretty full life and with so much to enjoy, I can be distracted from reading any story if it doesn't hold my attention from the start.
Moye's wonderful debut novel, The Pledge-Life is Eternal and So Is Love, is in my opinion what they call "a real pager turner". Once I got my hands on it and began to read what she had to offer, I could not put it down. The Characters that appear are true to life and teach us lessons that we will never forget. Tish is a woman who maintains a coolness and selflessness about her even when trying times confront her. Tom is such a good man that his innocence and naive approach to solving problems, wind him up in a familiar places. Sable adds the spice and drama that help complicate their lives. Yet, Moye's creative style of showing us this story brings it all together and in the end, we are left to understand that live goes on and on, forever.
