A graduate of Leadership Texas and an active member of her community, Linda has served as a member of various boards of directors including, Arts! San Antonio, San Antonio Food Bank, and St. Mary's University School of Law Alumni Association.

She served as an Elected Commissioner of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission. Linda is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., (www.deltasigmatheta.org) a national public service sorority, and served as vice president of her local alumnae chapter, 1998-2000 and as Co-coordinator of the 38th Southwest Regional Conference, 2001. She is also a member of Delta Authors on Tour.
